Property Description
A superb detached barn conversion on the south coast offering 4 bedroom self-catering accommodation. A large entrance hall with galleried landing leads to a spacious lounge with fireplace. Ideally located for the beach yet benefitting from all the features of a luxury country cottage, this family holiday cottage located with all the indoor facilities cannot fail to please on all levels.
This cottage has a 40" TV, DVD & Wii in the Lounge also benefitting from free wireless broadband so you can still say in touch. Steps lead from the lounge to a spacious dining room with vaulted ceiling and table seating 10. There is a large kitchen with range cooker, dishwasher, washing machine, tumble drier, microwave and fridge/freezer.
There are two bedrooms on the ground floor - a double bedded room with en-suite shower room/WC with door leading out to a private patio area and TV, and a twin bedded room. Downstairs cloakroom/WC.
On the first floor are two bedrooms, one with twin beds, en-suite shower room/WC, TV/DVD and the other with 5ft pine bed, en-suite shower room/WC and child's sofa bed, TV/DVD, both enjoying views over the countryside. Family bathroom/WC.
This cottage benefits from gas central heating throughout, so ideally suited for cosy wam breaks in the winter.
Outside the property is a patio area with a table & chairs seating 8 people, along with a Chiminea serving as a barbeque and patio heater for those long summer evenings!

New discoveries - Ipplepen play park, Totnes mine shop & The Sea Trout at Staverton. Missed a trip to Cockington this year but enjoyed another excellent Waye Barton farm pie. Off to the poolf or a final swim .....

Had a wonderful week of family celebration for our parents 50th wedding anniversary. Something here for everyone and a lovely peaceful setting. We found Fermoys - the farm shop along the road towards Newton Abbot - very good for local produce. We also enjoyed our visit to the Birds of Prey centre interesting which is entry by donation so welcomes any support. A good holiday all round.
